The Challenge
The Gypsy Nurse, a travel nursing community, was growing fast, but their digital ecosystem could not keep up. Job listings, community content, and resources lived across multiple platforms, spreadsheets, and data sources. Managing it all required too much manual work and made it difficult for users to find what mattered most. They needed a unified system that could scale with the community and keep everything accurate, fresh, and easy to access.
The Solution
Firedog rebuilt the platform from the ground up to bring every piece of content and community activity into one place. We created data pipelines that pulled and normalized information from Facebook, JSON, XML, sheets, and other sources so listings and discussions always stayed current.
We also built a secure member system so travel nurses could create profiles, make connections, and communicate directly within the platform.
